Intu Lakeside

A large extension of retail space to an existing shopping centre with a significant external area for outdoor events that required numerous elements of street furniture. Construction required in phases to coincide with hard landscape works.

The outside areas were created with green spaces constructed from steel planter walls, these came in a wide range of sizes, shapes and heights – all adding interest. These had integral seats, some with hinged tops to allow access to a sound system incorporated within the planter. To cater for all ages play equipment was added with rubber play surface to ensure maximum safety is provided at all times.

A good mix of furniture complimented by planted areas to help create an ambient, relaxing area for weary shoppers and a space for children to unwind and enjoy themselves.
